Nalazi se u općini Bešiktaš između Ortaköya i Bebeka. Poznat je po svojoj predivno uređenoj obali, šetalištu, ribljim restoranima, plantažama jagoda koje se i danas nalaze u unutrašnjosti naselja, gdje se nalazi i prestižni Robert koledž koji je 1863. godine osnovao Kristofer Robert, imućni amerikanac i filantrop. Nakon smrti 1878. godine veliki dio svog bogastva ostavio je koledžu. U naselju se pored policijske stanice nalazi Tevfikiye Cami, koja je 1832. godine izgrađena po nalogu Sultana II. Mahmuda.
It is located in the municipality of Besiktas between Ortaköy and Bebek. It is famous for its wonderfully decorated shore, boardwalk, seafood restaurants, plantations of strawberries that are still present in the interior of the neighbourhood, where the prestigious Robert College is, which was founded in 1863 by Christopher Robert, a wealthy American philanthropist. After his death in 1878, much of his wealth was left to the college. Next to the police station is located Tevfikiye Cami, which was built on the orders of Sultan II. Mahmud in 1832.
