Historijski muzej Bosne i Hercegovine ima ukupno šest muzejskih zbirki koju čini zbirka arhivske građe, fotografija, trodimenzionalnih predmeta, umjetničkih djela, stručne biblioteke i dokumentacioni centar. Ulaskom u muzej s desne strane nalazi se suvenirnica, a s lijeve stalna postavka Paralela, koja se odnosi na očuvanje ekologije. U nastavku su izložene ratne fotografije opkoljenog Sarajeva. Na prvom spratu je stalna postavka ”Opkoljeno Sarajevo”, gdje između ostalog možete zateći staro i prevaziđeno oružje koje je na početku agresije korišteno za odbranu grada, tezgu s pijace Markale koja se nalazila u blizini eksplozije, pribor iz učionice koji su koristila nedužno ubijena djeca prilikom granatiranja…

The Historical museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina has a total of six museum collections which consists of the archives, photographs, three-dimensional objets, art work, professional library and a documentation center. By entering the museum we see a souvenir section on the right side and on the left side is the permanent exposition Paralela which is about ecology. Below, war photographs of the besieged Sarajevo are displayed. The first floor hosts the permanent exposition “Sarajevo under siege” where among other items you can find old and antiquated weapons which were used to defend the city during the beginning of the aggression war, there is a stand of the “Markale” market which was near the grenade explosion and class stationery which was used by innocent children killed during shelling…
