Gulhane park jedan je od najstarijih i najvažnijih parkova u Istanbulu. U nekoliko zadnjih godina park je doživio mnogobrojne promjene. Zatvoren je mali zološki vrt koji se nalazio unutar parka, dječije igralište, a rekonstruisan je bazen, uređene su pješaćke staze, otvoren je Muzej istorije nauke i tehnike u Islamu. Na kraju parka u kaskadama nalaze se ljetnje bašte sa kojih se pruža predivan pogled na Bosfor.
Gülhane Park is one of the oldest and most important parks in Istanbul. In its recent history, it has undergone many changes. The small Zoo, which was located in the park, and the children’s playground were closed. Instead of these, a pool was reconstructed, pedestrian pathways were set and the Museum of the History of Science & Technology in Islam was opened. At the end of the park, at the cascades, there are summer gardens providing a magnificent view of the Bosporus.
