Jusuf-pasha’s (Kuršumlija) Mosque is in the heart of the Maglaj čaršija. It was built in 1560 from stone in the classical Ottoman style by the order of the viceroy and vezir Ali-pasha Kalauz. It is one of the biggest small-dome mosques from the Ottoman period. At the entrance there is a central prayer area characteristic by the sofe (porch) which has a special architectural value. The inside of the mosque is richly decorated with arabesques. In front of the mosque there is a šadrvan which is used for abdest (washing before prayer).
