Kroz grad teče rijeka Miljacka koja se ulijeva u rijeku Bosnu. Na udaljenosti od oko 12 kilometara od centra grada nalazi se vodopad Skakavac, visok 98 metara. Na istoj udaljenosti nalazi se Vrelo Bosne, koje svojom prirodnom ljepotom očarava mnogobrojne posjetioce.
The river Miljacka runs through the city and empties into the river Bosna. At a distance of about 12 kilometers from the city center there is a 98 meter high waterfall “Skakavac”. At the same distance is the “Vrelo Bosne” which is enchanting to the eyes of numerous visitors.
